the phrase web is vib was introduced by paul beck, when he was 7 years old. the internet was just an upcoming media and not that popular. during a radio report about the net the phrase world wide web appeared. paul then turned world wide web into web is vib, which always stayed kind of an insider in paul's family. now, after 9 years the internet really turned into something big; nearly 665 million people use the media. in 2008 paul realized that the web is kind of jamned with unusable pages. he had the idea of introducing a selector-page, which evaluates the serviceability of different pages. before thinking of how to realize this idea paul thought that web is vib, that stands for web is vibrant would be the perfect name for such a selector-page. he begins now to think and work on the selector. but for now, he just hopes that he is going to create something that could change the web and improve its user-friendliness, so that users really know which pages are informative and promise to be fun.
